The first China Forging Industry Innovation and Development High-end Forum and China Forging Association Expert Summit successfully concluded

From May 28 to 31, 2024, the first China Forging Industry Innovation and Development High-end Forum and China Forging Association Expert Summit was held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. The conference was sponsored by China Forging Association, co-organized by Yangzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Yangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee, Yangli Group, and hosted by China Forging Association "Brainstorming" expert service center and industry research Office. About 300 people, including academicians, experts and scholars, and representatives of well-known enterprises, gathered together to discuss cutting-edge innovative technologies, industry development trends, and future development directions of enterprises.

The meeting was deeply interpreted and analyzed around the "new quality productivity activation new momentum for collaborative development", providing new views and new ideas for promoting the high-quality development of the industry. The successful holding of the conference will promote the technological innovation of the industry, the balanced development of the whole industrial chain, and ensure the full implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan".

At the opening ceremony of this event, 10 projects were signed. These projects involve the research and development of intelligent light alloy hot die forging press, the manufacture of intelligent and efficient flexible stamping production line for auto body structural parts, the construction of 5G smart factory, and the development of efficient three-dimensional warehouse scheduling and control system for intelligent manufacturing, etc., which will help cultivate and expand the industrial mother machine and robot industry chain in Yangzhou.

Professor Zhong Yongsheng, chief economist of China Forging Association (former inspector general of the Central Finance Office), made a keynote report on "How to activate New quality productivity and new momentum of Collaborative development - China Forging Industry". The first High-end Forum on Innovation and Development of China Forging Industry and the Expert Summit of China Forging Association were successfully held in Yangzhou, which is inseparable from the efforts of all parties and efficient team cooperation. The theme of this event is closely related to the current situation, and has been highly recognized and affirmed by the government and delegates. Driven by the policy of promoting a new round of large-scale equipment renewal and replacing old consumer goods with new ones, China's forging industry will continue to make efforts in the direction of digitalization, intelligence and green, and promote the high-quality sustainable development of the industry.
